Cannot mount a UDF image

Hello,

I'm having a trouble mounting a UDF file system image that was
previously made with 'makefs -t udf'. Even though I've successfully
burned the image onto a DVD-R and then mounted said DVD-R, all inside
NetBSD, I have no success mounting just the image to examine it before
the burn.

The reproduction on a fresh NetBSD/evbarm 11.0 install:

arm64# makefs -t udf -o disctype=dvdrom test.udf .
Calculated size of `test.udf' is 3104 KiB, 3 MiB, 0 GiB with 10 inodes
Building disc compatible with UDF version 102 to 150

UDF properties 02004<REWRITABLE,READONLY>
Volume set `6ae09af04d1a2379'
Primary volume `776584a`
Logical volume `anonymous`

Total space on this medium approx. 2527 KiB, 2 MiB
Recordable free space on this volume approx. 1888 KiB, 1 MiB

arm64# vndconfig -c vnd0 test.udf 2048/1/1/0
arm64# mount -t udf /dev/vnd0a /mnt
mount_udf: Cannot mount /dev/vnd0a on /mnt: Operation not supported by
device

The last two commands are from vndconfig(8) man page example and the
https://www.netbsd.org/docs/guide/en/chap-rmmedia.html#vnconfig guide
article.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Iskander
