Don't mind, that referred to my own code only.
You would (have) switch(ed) to TCP sooner that much is plain.
Today .. i would write the stub resolver more primitively and
simply rely upon some global local thing like dnsmasq or what per
se; and hope that firefox-bin can be forced to use it, too.
