Yes.   Been there forever.   ("They" are one builtin with 2 names, "let"
is the more common version.)

If they were useful perhaps, but they really aren't much.   But if it is
desired, doing so would not be hard.

Another option would be to delete them (or at least "exp" which I think
has been removed from the FreeBSD sh).
