Unfortunately, 'fold -s' != 'GNU fmt -s'

BTW, fmt utility shipped with Solaris9 and Heirloom fmt
works like GNU fmt. FreeBSD and OpenBSD use -s option differently.
All fmt utilities I've seen support at least -c and -w.
