It would help us keep usage and other doco up-to-date if we had a
high-level language for describing command usage.  Two "compilers"
would turn the high-level descriptions either into C code for parsing
the command-line, or into SYNOPSIS and skeletal DESCRIPTION sections
for a manual page.
