What's the current argument against a -h al=E1 GNU for du(1) and df(1)?

Even Solaris sports it these days...

Keeping the -k and -m flags (and plausibly a -g flag with this
addition) is obviously attractive for awk | sort -n reasons, but
some times you'd really like to not convert in your head, nor lose
information where -{k,m,g} is just to big for some of your files
but right for others.
