Maybe not entirely on topic, but has anyone considered applying
pkg rules to the base software not so much for installation, but
for a clean uninstall where features are not desired?

For example, the very sendmail/postfix issue being discussed here.
Or BIND, or cvs. Anything that could be installed to check it out
in the initial installation, but is then a nightmare to remove.

I'll be interested to help, if somebody can start the ball rolling.
