imho, the /usr/src description is a little *too* detailed and as such,
in danger of being out of date.  as it think it already is after all
the fs movement.

the pkgsrc description should probably be changed also.  it should
refer to Packages.txt in the root of the pkgsrc tree, which provides a
much better description of pkgsrc, and where the variables are
described that determine the two directories under pkgsrc that hier.7
mentions.
