Hi!

How are we going to proceed with system packages, i.e. are we going
to provide an easy way of managing them or do we left everything
to the user?

What I'd like to see (even in 1.6) is _some_ method of managing these
packages without the need of manually setting PKG_DBDIR (as it's damn
easy to forget).

My "temporary" solution is this:

http://www.piuha.net/~martti/tmp/syspkg.diff
http://www.piuha.net/~martti/tmp/syspkg.tgz

I personally think we should change the pkg_xxx tools (i.e. add a new
flag to indicate system packages). However, my guess is that nobody has
the time to do that in the near future...

Is this okay to commit to -current? This consumes only few kB of disk.

Martti
