Is that really true, or is that because the architecture you're on has
either signed or unsigned chars and one of those implementations is
doing the wrong thing?  :-)

Seriously, I can't look at the csh source locally any more -- I've
removed all traces of it from my systems; and of course I've never
allowed that bash abmonination to even come close to them.....  :-)
