It's necessary to have /usr/bin/ident in the tree, for useful bug-reporting
and extraction of tags from binaries.
I assert this is a strong argument against removing RCS, though of course
you could seperate ident from the rest of RCS.
(I agree with some of the other arguments against removing RCS, but
I want to mention this one.)
