There's an additional problem with non-compat syntax. Hereabouts we=20
select user access to specific workstations using the NIS netgroup database.

With "compat" syntax, we use:

+@parlab:::::::: (insert appropriate amount of : here) to add all of the
members of the netgroup parlab.

I might be wrong, but at least I don't know how to do this without "compat".
