Hello,

        trying to restore damaged file system (`/usr' in my case) from backup
        media, I  discovered (again and  again) that statically linked `gzip'
        is not in `/bin' directory.  This makes restoring extremely difficult
        if you have only  root file system  in consistent state and  no other
        NetBSD binaries around, so I would like to ask: may be it'd be better
        to move `gzip' into `/bin'?
