Make one and put in something such that if xdm dies, you can restart it
without having to grovel for the pid yourself.
$PATH is a matter of preference -- some, such as Greg, prefer the minimalist
approach in their path. Others put in the kitchen sink. If you're a
systems administrator even part-time, and you know what you're doing,
I strongly recommend putting sbins in your path; else leave well enough alone.
Now, THIS is fodder for netbsd-chat.
I want to upgrade my system from Solaris 2.0 to 4.4 BSD.
