I've had a brief look, and as long as this works as it does, the 
mechanism you're using is ok (though you might try to play with WRKSRC or 
so, see the tcl & tk pkgs).

BUT!
Could you please see to get the files all stuffed into the "standard" 
directories, not all below a single dir below $PREFIX? Will make peole's 
life easier, i guess. Please see the FreeBSD mysql pkg for hints on how 
to do it.
