mysql was never ported to 1.3. I've done the code for mit-pthreads,
but I've not managed to fix config.in, because for some reason I
get different output when running autoconf on config.in than is in
the config that comes with mysql. I'll be contacting the maintainer
about this, and this has moved up my priority list enough that with
luck I'll have the thing ported in a week or so.
