Thanks a lot for your kind help. 

I am working on porting to Cortex-A9 ARM Core. I do not think there are any 
pre-existing ref bsps for that. 

It will be great if you can build a 'minimal/bare metal' ramdisk root file 
system (using ffs) for any of the following 
ARM11 based targets: TISDP2420/IMX31LITE/GEMINI and upload it.
Then I can use mdsetimage tool to insert the ramdisk into my Cortex-A9 based 
kernel.

You can download stuff off of ftp.netbsd.org:/pub/NetBSD; under
directories for specific NetBSD releases (e.g., NetBSD-4.0.1), you can
find prebuild kernel/ramdisk images under evbarm/installation/instkernel.
I'm not sure if those kernels are the ones targeting your hardware, though.
If you need an image built for something from NetBSD-current, I could
build you an image if you want (I cross-compile under MacOS X, but the
images I build work fine for me).
