hi folks.

i've just switched all in-tree binutils using platforms to the binutils
2.14 tree. i have tested this on nearly all the major platforms (all
the ones i could get successful builds from - irrespective of binutils
version), and the others seemed to work properly. i have not done
complete testing for these architectures:

	- hppa
	- sh3 (big & little endian)
	- vax
	- powerpc

hppa world doesn't build, but the tools do and seem to work as well as
the binutils 2.13.2.1 ones. sh3, vax & powerpc builds all fail in
strange ways whether i use 2.13 or 2.14, but at the very least, the ppc
libc.so appears to work.

this upgrade should be handled completely smoothly by build.sh or the
normal make mechanism. please send-pr any problems you find.

in the next day or so i will do the following:

	- remove all the in-tree support for building old binutils

	- delete the *really* old gas/ld versions

	- delete the binutils 2.13.2.1 tree from gnu/dist/toolchain

(i'd really like to delete GCC 2 soon as well...)

.mrg.

ps: "look ma, totally up-to-date necessary toolchain components!"
