Thanks for the info, Klaus.

Since tiff is a major dependency for pkgsrc, I am upgrading to newer
version of tiff too.

I see that tiff-3.6.0 now adds __arch64__ in its 64-bit checks.

Does __arch64__ mean 64-bit for all NetBSD?

Or should I still also check for _LP64 too?
