That has been mentioned exactly once, in a message in which I also
mentioned the iov_base field of struct iovec (as used by writev()) and
similarly non-const fields of two other X structures.

You seem to be silently ignoring points made which don't agree with
your stance.  I see no point in continuing a discussion with such a
person.

Or perhaps you are redefining API to include only function arguments,
not struct elements.  Again, I see no point in discussing further.
