I made crunched binary for hpcmips with your patch, on NetBSD/i386 machine.

Base source is from cvs with -D 2002-02-02-UTC.

make release (build.sh with -R) was done without any problems!

netbsd.gz (include sysinst) is booting and running just now :)
I can see sysinst menu and select some items, and so on...
