Folks...

You may have noticed that just a little while ago I committed a
cross-tool version of mdsetimage(8) (it is installed with the standard
GNU platform prefix that the compiler, etc. uses).  Yesterday, I
did this with lint(1).

As far as I know, those are the last bits necessary in order to cross
build full releases from a NetBSD host.  I am testing this theory by
attempting a full "make release" (via ./build.sh -R) of NetBSD/sparc
hosted on NetBSD/i386, using the new toolchain.

I'll report back what I discover...
