To use gcj, I tried to compile gcc 3.0 20010326 snapshot on NetBSD
Before compile gcc, I installed binutils-2.10.0 in /home/cimon/gcc
I started compiling gcc as

  $../configure --prefix=/home/cimon/gcc --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld \
               --host=alpha-dec-netbsdelf --target=alpha-dec-netbsdelf
  $gmake LANGUAGES="c c++"

gcc 3.0 compilation failed as follows.
How to solve this problem ?
If build gcc 3.0 on NetBSD is impossible,
is there anyway for java2 programming environment on NetBSD/alpha ?

running mknumeric_limits
   -isystem /home/cimon/gcc/alpha-dec-netbsdelf/include -I.
   ../../../gcc/libstdc++-v3/src/gen-num-limits.c c
/home/cimon/gcc/alpha-dec-netbsdelf/bin/ld: cannot open crt1.o: No such file
or directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
gen-num-limits failed to build, exiting.
mknumeric_limits failed to execute properly: exiting
gmake: *** [configure-target-libstdc++-v3] Error 1
