I've done a "make clean" before building the kernel.  What problems
are you seeing?  If it's a silicon problem (I'm guessing, is this the
problem that may have been suggested is a silicon problem?) I'm on a
R4400, not an R4000...


ps: vlad and mona "swapped" - I wanted the faster machine for -current.
