With 1.5.2, is it the siop or ncr which is used ?

I see that you have a dual-funtion ncr53c875, I guess this is in fact
a 876. But I don't know of any problems with this chip.

Could you try to compile a kernel with esiop instead of (or in addition to)
siop ?
