Hi -

  The latest set of changes (from this weekend) appear to have
fixed two nagging problems.   The more serious one was dropping
into DDB because of a locking-against-myself problem; the second
was an annoyince with audio in which playback from e.g. ogg123
or mpg123 would become progressively more choppy until an
audioctl -w 'blocksize=<some value>' was issued, which would
cause the problem to go away for a few minutes at a time.
