This does not work on my ASUS Dual PPro, the box has all i/o slots
full, the boot gets past all the probing of devices and so forth then
dies with:

ioapic0: int2 10100<vector=0,delmode=1,masked,dest=0> 0<target=0>
panic: apic_vectorset: no free vectors
