Well... sort of free.  Read their licence carefully, it is a
reasonable licence but they do have some restrictions.

I give this one the thumbs up too.  I deployed a NetBSD vpn gateway
with windows clients running hybrid X-auth and apart from a MTU
problem it worked perfectly.  You can also build an install bundle so
that the client users just need to run the installer and the vpn
client will configure itself which is a real bonus when it comes to
supporting remote users.
