Well, if we're going to bring up OpenBSD as a model for security, I'll
have to put in my two cents (.015 Euros) worth. I noticed earlier the
term "obfuscation" came up, and that's about what I'd describe their
coding practices as. It's hard to write cracks if you can't figure out
how the @#&* code works. While security is always important, I admire
(and learn greatly from) NetBSD's clarity of code so I'd object to
any attempts to reconcile OpenBSD coding practices with NetBSD's at the
expense of that clarity.
