Subject: What is going on with us getting the new BINDs available?

As of this morning, /pub/NetBSD/packages/1.5/i386/All still does not
have the new, secure BIND 8.3.0:

dir bind*
-rw-rw-r-- 1 1127 netbsd 4994104 Dec 23 19:27 bind-8.2.2p7.tgz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 1127 netbsd 2615945 Nov 18 09:22 bind-9.0.0.tgz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 1127 netbsd 2553128 Jul 26 2000 bind-9.0.0rc1.tgz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 1127 netbsd 2632710 Jan 4 00:22 bind-9.0.1.tgz
-rw-rw-r-- 1 1127 netbsd 2987182 Jan 4 00:11 bind-9.1.0b1.tgz

Further, after doing a sup on current, I still can't make the new
BIND because the Makefile has two errors in it (there are two
spurious ".WAIT" words in the SUBDIR= line).

Is there an unstated reason for us not being faster on this? Are we
trying to force folks to go to BIND 9? And, if so, why don't we have
the final BIND 9.1 in the packages tree?
