Indeed -- at the secure telnet bof at IETF last week, the comment was
made that either:

	* All vendors will hop on the bandwagon and implement the
	  security enhancements for telnet, or

	* All vendors will think the enhancements are unreasonable
	  and simply drop telnet support altogether.

Ether way, security improves :-)
