Hello,

Last August, a local DOS was posted to Bugtraq against FreeBSD. It also
affects NetBSD. See:

  http://www.securityportal.com/list-archive/bugtraq/1999/Sep/0026.html

I tried it this morning, and it still works against my 1.4.2 NetBSD machine.

Is there/was there any fix to this?

For some reason, the tech-security archives on netbsd.org don't go past
August 99.

Thanks,

-Jon
