No, but the U.S lawyers can and will state that whatever company is
using the software, illegally exported it, or at least must have known
that it was illegally exported.

How many years will the lawsuit take? Not many companies would even
consider the risk of getting involved in one.

And no, this not an April-fools joke. Companies do argue like this
when choosing to use or not to use software.
