Assuming you're talking about crunchide, this is solved with the objcopy
If you're talking about mdsetimage, the source will have to live in
gnu/usr.sbin, because anything linked against libbfd is GPV'd. You
also want to reachover-build one for TOOLDIR from src/tools, and
also have one in the "native" build that gets installed in /usr/sbin
on the target system (you may not only want to mdsetimage a boot floppy
image, after all).
