Re: branch updates - strategy change?

I'm now using bob on my build machines (domU per version/cpu, for
versions I'm running, and the next one I'll upgrade to), and am seeing a

artifact of "bulk rebuilds always" vs "pkg_rr rebuilds if a dependency
version changes".

After cvs update along the branch, and a bob clean/bob build, I see that
there is a vast amount of packages to rsync, and then "pkgin ug" wants
to "refresh" about 200 packages and upgrade:

 expat-2.8.5 pcre2-10.49 png-1.6.59

These are pretty obviously micros with security fixes (rather than fixes
as patches).

I wonder if updates to the branch are different, or if this is just the
usual bulk practice being super aggressive about rebuilding.

expat was bumped on the branch, and given it has around 21,000 dependencies then yes I'd expect it to cause a large number of rebuilds and refreshes.
