Pico language interpreter license changed to GPL
Hi,
I just got hold of the Pico language. It used to be BSD licensed but now
changes its license to GPL.
The packages are "tpico2" and "tpico2-experimental" in pkgsrc-wip.
I'm just posting this as its a Scheme based language which is quite
interesting.
I still need to remove comments, change license headers and so on but
the owner should be clear
from the README etc in tpico2-experimental.
So, just give me some time after vacation to fix all that.
Note also that it uses a specific readline version 5.0, not the usual I
mean.
Later on, I will probably also remove this sole library dependency by just
parsing a newline and putting it in a Pico Sesssion or Do.
This package should probably go in current especially as it's in
lang/devel, but I am not going to do that myself.
Just give me some time to fix the above and enjoy the new open Pico
language which is a lambda calculus based
language where you can post packages for or just code the heck out of it.
Best regards,
Johan
