I've fixed gcc14 and pushed the changes to wip/gcc14. This one builds for me on Darwin/aarch64 (macOS 15), Darwin/x86_64 (macOS 12), NetBSD/aarch64 (10.99.12), and NetBSD/x86_64 (10.99.12).

If there is no objections, I would like to push the changes to base.
