Just adding a bit more context,
This is nushell-0.96.1 on a bulk build,

I have no issues building this version on my system,
NetBSD mybox 10.99.11 NetBSD 10.99.11 (GENERIC) #0: Mon Aug 19 17:53:44 UTC 2024

But, I'm hiting this error when locally building the new release 0.97.1
