I see this too. I don't understand this, the package includes
devel/ncurses/buildlink3.mk which I understand to always pull in
ncurses (use mk/curses.buildlink3.mk if you don't want that) - but the
ncurses package is not installed for me (on NetBSD-current/amd64).
