Hi,

it looks like I found the relevant change which introduced this
problem for pkgsrc, by diff'ing rust-1.70.0 and rust-1.71.0.  I
just committed an update to the pkgsrc-wip/rust package which
undoes the relevant change (inside LLVM), and I'm once again able
to cross- build rust using the pkgsrc setup.
