compiler version in bulk build reports?

It would be great if someone(tm) could tweak the standard bulk build
report script to have the compiler version, not just the type:

  pkgsrc bulk build report
  ========================

  CentOS 7/x86_64
  Compiler: gcc

and also include that info in the html report.  I am relatively
underclued on bulk build implementation details and hoping someone who
already knows the code can do this quickly.
