It ain't broke, don't fix it.

(We do have a long-standing policy of not renaming packages just for
arbitrary cleanup, or even if they're clearly in the wrong category,
and this is worse than that because it will break CVS trees.)

Agreed, renaming does nothing but break things. One other thing it breaks, to add to the list, is anyone using pkgin export/import to upgrade from an older release, or any other tool that takes a list of PKGPATH as input (I think pkg_chk does too?).

Just Say No.
