boost-libs breakage on lots of platforms

Hi,

Does anyone have any clue what's broken about boost-libs on, at least, 
UltraSPARC, m68k, Alpha, and likely others?

Last quarter and this quarter it is causing lots of package failures 
these platforms, so it'd be lovely if the issues were fixed.
