maya pointed me at show-buildlink3, and it says:

libva
    libX11
        libXau
            xorgproto
        libXdmcp
        libxcb
            xcb-proto
            libXdmcp
            libXau
        xorgproto
    libdrm

so I guess multimedia/libva/available.mk needs fixing...
