/usr/pkg/share/man isn't the right place. pkgsrc normally puts things
in ${PREFIX}/man as ${PREFIX}/man/man1/foo.1 Yes, this is different
from many other systems, and yes, it causes us some trouble.
$ make show-vars VARNAMES=PKGMANDIR
man

I am not really familiar with these perl details, so I'll defer to
