rust, NetBSD/i386 and librsvg

Looks like librsvg defaults to the rust implementation on
NetBSD/i386... but there do not aappear to be any NetBSD/i386 rust
bootstrap distfiles available.

Would it be feasible to build rust on NetBSD/i386, or failing that
should the default be switched to the c implementation?
