I didn't ask you to revert it. I just asked you to answer the question of why it was added (which should have been in the commit message). It's not immediately clear to me why one needs unlink separate from rm. While each tool is small, if we had 200 it would be a burden, and therefore I think there is some cost to adding them. I also said that I thought it should have been proposed first. That's a long way from "revert and let's discuss". The line of what needs discussion vs. just doing is both fuzzy and not well agreed by everybody. I think it's ok for someone to point out when something is on the "should propose" side of the line and wasn't, and that's a long way from asking for a revert.
