rc version handling (was: CVS commit: pkgsrc/sysutils/psftools)



Can someone add some comments about how the rc handling works
and also document it somewhere.

pkgsrc has some knowlege about rcX, so please keep it.
See src/dist/pkg_install/lib/dewey.c

I'm not 100% sure how it works, but the package should not be named 1.0.6
if it is not the final version. Either 1.0.5.9xxx or with the rc name schema.

Btw, you know that we are still in pkgsrc freeze?
