I'm glad to hear that this was on your to-do list because this message
was, basically, directed at you and Johnny Lam.  :)

Although I'm sure you can foresee difficulties with the toolchain
right off, my naivety lead me to believe that it would be similar to a
pumped-up pkgsrc bootstrap.
