  Perhaps, but let's not all stop improving pkgsrc just because you
plan a major overhaul for the last 1.5 years.  If your change will
make it obsolete, that doesn't sound like a change to this script will
cause you conflicts.  So what exactly would we gain by not fixing this
bug?
